Meet the Staff

Rachelle DelGiorno - Director

I have been an Early Childhood Educator for over 10 years. It is my belief that young children learn best while playing and interacting with other children. Play, therefore, is a child's work. Play allows children to use their creativity while developing their imagination, dexterity, problem-solving, physical, cognitive and emotional skills. Children advance cognitively by engaging in naturalistic hands on exploration of their real world. While children are having fun singing songs, listening to stories, using their imagination, creating and exploring, they are also building their academic skills! Let your children come play and develop a love of learning at Tutor Time of Lindenhurst. I look forward to meeting everyone.

Kelly Seepersad- Lifesmart Curriculum Director

Ever since I was a child, I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher. I can remember turning my bedroom in to my very own classroom and setting up all of my stuffed animals as my "students". All throughout high school and college, I have had the pleasure of working with children through jobs, internships, and babysitting. As I gained more experience through these wonderful opportunities, I have more than I could ever imagine about childhood education, and knew that I had made the right choice by entering this field. Currently, I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, and plan to pursue my Master's Degree in Special Education in the near future. My journey at Tutor Time Lindenhurst has been amazing and I am so happy to be transitioning from Lead Pre-K teacher to the Curriculum Director at the school. Nothing makes me happier than to see each child smile as they enter the building every morning, ready to start their day at Tutor Time. I am so thankful to have the opportunity of watching these children grow and getting to know all of their different personalities!

Kimberly Jelley- Young Learner Curriculum Director

From an early age I always knew that I wanted to work with children, and over the years I have been provided with wonderful experiences to work with children of various ages and developmental levels. I have worked with children for approximately ten or more years, including three years here at Tutor Time Lindenhurst! During my three years here, I have held many positions in both the Learn from the start and Lifesmart classrooms. My education at Stony Brook University, along with teaching, has helped me expand my knowledge of child development through obtaining my Bachelor's degree in child psychology. I also have a Master's degree in Social Work from Stony Brook University, and I am also a New York State certified Social Worker. Through these endeavors, I have increased my skills set in childhood development and family practices. I look forward to taking on this new opportunity as the Young learner Curriculum Director, and look forward to working with every family and child!

Julianne Arocho- Food Manager

I am currently attending classes to complete my Childhood Education (CDA) certification, and have been working in daycare for several years now. I enjoy working in daycare because there are different children and ages that I can work with. I have been working with the two year old age group for 3 years now and I love it. They always keep you on your feet and have the best reactions! It it great being able to work with kids that are so happy to come to school and learn new things!
